ASMA 2017 Survey
The objective of ASMA research 2017 is to provide in-depth analysis of the trends of adopting social media in academia. The ASMA Research will explore every stone of social media and its usage by the stakeholders of the academia including deans, directors, faculty, students, corporate and alumni. The ASMA research aims at providing a comparative study of social media usage phenomena in two different academic sector including B schools and engineering.
This study will explore how these two institution’s aims and objectives impact on the policy of using and managing social media for academic. Our aim is to reduce the gap between technology and learning, and how the changing technology helps the academia to explore new variant of learning and teaching.
Deans and Directors
Deans and directors of an institute have a very significant role to play when it comes to institutes be It about engineering or B schools, the way social media plays a role and what are the impacts. The research aims to explore the challenges faced by the deans and directors while adopting social media in academia.
Student B school
Through this research, we aim towards getting a better idea as to how B school students are affected by social media in terms of their career choices and moves, what type of assistance they are expecting from their respective institutes and how well are they aware as well as are utilizing this very platform.
Institute to Alumni
Through this questionnaire, we aim towards getting a better idea about how institutes are getting profits or are affected by the alumni’s in terms of social media presence and activities. We aim towards identifying how students of an institute is getting benefits by the social media alumni networks.
Corporate to Institute
The ASMA research 2017 objective is to explore what are the different social media ways in which the corporate presence is playing a role in these institutes. The research aims to strive how companies are looking at institution via social media sites for recruitment, profiling, and brand building of institute.
The ASMA research 2017 strives to explore the usage of social media by the faculty. The objective is to provide in-depth understanding and analysis of faculty using social media for different strategic purposes related to academia. It aims to explore that how faculties are influenced with the trends of adopting social media in their professional and personal objectives. The research aims to explore the challenges faced by the faculty while adopting social media in academia.
Through this research, we aim towards getting a better idea as to how engineering students are affected by social media in terms of their career choices and moves, what type of assistance they are expecting from their respective institutes and how well are they aware as well as are utilizing this very platform.
Alumni to Institute
To showcase how these social media platforms, make the alumni of a particular institute interact, associate and sustain a healthy relationship with an institute and on what traits.

The ASMA research focuses on what are the various social media ways in which these institutes get in touch with the corporate world and how they are benefitted from it.
