He is is a leading media and communication academic in India. He is known for his convergent approach to media education starting from an integrated broad base leading to focused specialisation at the top.<\/p>\n<p>A known face in TV studio debates and a regular writer in Indian media, Prof. Chowdhury also served as Dean of Amity University, Dean of DGMC Media College, Mumbai University, Dean of Symbiosis Media School and Deano of Whistling Woods International.
