Dr Madhu Chitkara, Pro-Chancellor, Chitkara University, is a teacher at heart, who sees education as a mission of life. With vast experience of 42 years, her journey from a Maths teacher to a leading Educationist is truly inspirational.

Her journey from a Maths teacher to a leading Educationist is truly inspirational. As one of the few lady Vice-Chancellors, she is the soul of Chitkara campuses with more than 15000 students and 1000 faculty members as a Cofounder.

She has more than 25 accolades to her credit in the form of awards at the State and Central government level. She has received the Lifetime Achievement Gold Medal Award Winner in 2004 and she was adjudged as the winner of Women Entrepreneur Award in South Asia.

For her endeavours, Dr Madhu Chitkara has been felicitated with many prestigious awards such as the State Sward for Teachers, International Achiever’s Award (Women Entrepreneur), “Women in Education” award by The Economic Times, “Visionary Edupreneurs” by Shree Pranab Mukharjee, Former President of India, “The Lifestyle Women’s Achiever’s” Award by The Eye Media Group, etc.

Her case study on Entrepreneurship is published by Washington School of Business in 2013 and she was adjudged as Winner of the Women Entrepreneur Award in South Asia.
