{"id":4941,"date":"2021-03-17T05:45:48","date_gmt":"2021-03-17T05:45:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.asmaindia.in\/top-40-under-40-event\/?post_type=speaker&#038;p=4941"},"modified":"2021-03-18T05:00:40","modified_gmt":"2021-03-18T05:00:40","slug":"dr-pankaj-mittal","status":"publish","type":"speaker","link":"https:\/\/www.asmaindia.in\/top-40-under-40-event\/speaker\/dr-pankaj-mittal\/","title":{"rendered":"Dr Pankaj Mittal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dr Pankaj Mittal is Secretary-General of the Association of Indian Universities.<\/p>\n<p>She has previously served in the higher education sector, especially university education for over three decades at the University Grants Commission of India.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Mittal is a Fulbright Scholar and she has vast experience of over three decades in Higher Education, Policy Planning and Management of Higher Education.<\/p>\n<p>She earlier served as the first regular Vice-Chancellor of Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya, Khanpur, the first rural women university of North India.<\/p>\n<p>During her stint as Vice-Chancellor, Dr Mittal has forged collaborations with several universities such as the University of Baltimore, St Catherine University, Nottingham Trent University and University of Cambridge ESOL, UK.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Mittal has also served as a member of various high powered committees and professional bodies and she has published numerous papers, articles, and reports on issues relating to higher education and women&#8217;s empowerment in national and international journals.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dr Pankaj Mittal is Secretary-General of the Association of Indian Universities.
