AICTE launches PMSSS 2022


The Prime Minister Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS) 2022 registration procedure has begun, according to the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Engineering diploma students from Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh who are enrolled in the academic year 2022-23 are eligible to apply for the PMSSS 2022 scholarship scheme. Candidates interested in applying can do so online at

The registration deadline for PMSSS 2022 is September 5.

Students are recommended to register and verify their documents as soon as possible, rather than waiting until the deadline. The PMSSS registration will take place online for the academic year 2022-23. The process began on 29th August 2022 and will continue till 5th September 2022. (2nd year). Lateral entry admission will be based on vacant seats available for the academic year 2021-22 in the engineering stream exclusively.

The official website contains information about eligibility criteria, courses, and other essential topics. According to the AICTE’s announcement, only students who have received a diploma from the Jammu and Kashmir board of technical education no earlier than 2020-21 are eligible to apply.

The PMSSS 2022 scholarship scheme would pay students varying amounts for academic and dormitory fees. Students would receive financial aid of up to Rs 1.25 lakh per annum as an academic fee, as well as a maintenance allowance of Rs 1 lakh per annum in ten equal installments, under the PMSSS scholarship scheme. Prime Minister Narendra Modi created the PMSSS scholarship scheme to assist students from Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh in pursuing undergraduate courses in colleges outside the union territory.
