ASMA (Adoption of Social Media in Academia) is India’s first research-based initiative which provides an industry benchmark for the academia while sharing social media best practices and helps them meet their objectives and increase the brand value.

Join us on 19th August 2017, at Hyatt Pune for ASMA annual convention 2017, to celebrate the exclusive amalgamation of social media with academia while exploring the theme, ‘Digital Transformation of Higher Education: Emerging Role of Social Media’. And celebrating the progress and contributions of all the dignitaries involved. ASMA plans to host various regional and national events in the upcoming months to discuss the developments and emerging trends in the usage of social media by academia.

ASMA is India’s first research based initiative through which prodigies of both the fields, social media as well as academia, are highlighted enlightened about how well they are helping each other progress and what exactly are the areas wherein the required efforts have to be taken.

Digitization has touched various facets of business dimensions around the world. It has no longer remained a support system to implement the strategy, in-fact it has become the central theme of the organizational strategy. The digital transformation is compelling organizations to learn and implement newly developed tools in the digital space. The government initiative and push in making digital space a center place in business has widen up the impact and uplifted the users interface with rapid growth.

ASMA round table conference/initiative is intended to provide and build a platform for knowledge sharing and learning in order to focus on the most important aspect of change in 21st century i.e. “Digital Transformation in Academia”. This round table is one of the unique initiative to bring academia and related stakeholders along with the industry experts in digital space. These round table wishes to play the role of catalyst in bringing the smooth flow of knowledge and learning, during the journey of transformation in academia and related industry.

In order to reach the stakeholders across the country, ASMA round table wish to conduct events at multiple location and look forward to collaborate with various stakeholders in those locations. The previous round tables conducted by ASMA has been successful and well regarded by the academia and related stakeholders. We wish to take this journey ahead in order to emphasize and create a community focusing upon digital transformation to achieve the objective of “Awareness, Learning, Drafting and Execution” in the field of academia and the support of digital technology in their transformation and institution building.
