Students can now pursue full-time two degrees at same time: UGC Chairman

University Grant Commission (UGC) will permit students to seek after two full-time degree programs all the while.

This was declared by UGC Chairman Prof. M. Jagadesh Kumar in a virtual gathering with the media yesterday.

He said, students can seek after two academic projects all the while in a physical mode either from the same college or various colleges.

Prof Kumar said, students can likewise seek after two academic programs in online mode all the while.

He said, this will enable the students to procure new information and give them adaptability.

Prof. Jagadesh Kumar said, a few parts of the National Education Policy have been executed the nation over and UGC is attempting to give adaptability under the National Education Policy.

The UGC Chairman expressed, rules and guidelines in this regard will be updated soon.
